This morning Health and Fitness Journal released it’s top 20 fitness trends for 2014.
Topping the list,  “High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), which involves short bursts of activity followed by a short period of rest or recovery,…These exercise programs are usually performed in less than 30 minutes.”
Blogs from 7/8/13 and 8/30/13 highlight the benefits which include boosting your metabolism for up to 38 hours after your training. The blogs also provide a link to the original HIIT studies.
