The study focuses on two main things that are happening.
Our metabolism is affected by having decreased glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity coupled with increased hunger = weight gain.

What to do you may ask. Try some simple things to create a comfortable sleeping environment.
Create a dark room with shades or drapes
Keep room temperature below 70 degrees F
Move electrical devises away from your head
Move light-emitting devices out of the room (Phone, TV, etc…)
